Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Tig Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques to join metals with precision and consistency
- Fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal working equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes
- Cut, shape, assemble, and weld metal parts to meet project requirements
- Conduct quality inspections of welded joints and fabricated parts for adherence to safety standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and optimize workflow efficiency
- Install equipment and parts on site at various customer locations
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding across various metals, including stainless steel and aluminum
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Familiarity with welding safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately and calculating dimensions
- Experience in assembly processes involving metal components and sheet metal work
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics effectively
- Knowledge of welding standards is a plus but not mandatory
