Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong organisational abilities, and exceptional communication skills to provide outstanding service to our customers.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury.
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and updating delivery records.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle to uphold safety standards and professionalism.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with commercial driving practices.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record is essential.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Pay: £97.68-£228.76 per day
