Celino’s is an authentic family run Italian Delicatessen and Trattoria.
Offering an all-day dining experience including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Our delicatessen offers fresh Italian produce, as well as our own in-house ready-made meals, desserts, breads and cakes.
In past years we have won multiple awards for Best Trattoria and Delicatessen in Scotland, testament to our commitment to succeed on every level.
Our Alexandra Parade trattoria seats 40 covers and operates from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 10pm Sunday.
The Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced, charismatic and passionate Head Chef to take on this key role within this busy operation.
Leading the kitchen team of 7 in the production and service of authentic Italian food.
The ideal Head Chef will have experience in fresh Italian food cooking.
The perfect candidate will be a real leader with the ability to nurture and develop the team through training and coaching.
We Are Looking For:
- Relevant experience with fresh Italian food operations.
- A creative imagination and pallet when developing dishes and great knowledge of seasonal produce.
- A head chef with classic Italian training in all elements of the kitchen.
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead the kitchen team.
- Strong problem solving skills - the ability to diagnose problems then develop and recommend solutions.
