Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join our innovative design team in a hybrid work environment. Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Create and refine 3D models and visualizations utilizing SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and other modeling tools to support design presentations and technical analysis.
- Assist in system design and integration by preparing schematic diagrams and technical specifications aligned with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are accurately translated into construction-ready plans.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, verify measurements, and support construction activities with technical insights.
- Prepare detailed graphic presentations and visual materials that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain organized project files, documentation, and revision histories to ensure seamless workflow continuity.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician or in a similar role within the architecture or engineering industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is essential.
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematic development, system design principles, and construction processes enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to produce precise technical drawings and visualizations that meet project specifications.
- Background in construction or related field provides valuable insight into practical implementation of designs.
- Excellent graphic design skills for creating compelling presentations and visual materials are a plus.
