We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need in their own home.. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. Looking for candidates that have availability over Early Mornings, Evenings or weekends.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, personal care , and dressing
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper care is provided
Skills:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of eldercare practices is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need of care
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various home care settings
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is a plus
