Job Overview
MLJ is looking for an experienced Class 2 Grab Driver (8-wheeler) to join our team. Based at our Pudsey, Leeds depot, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting materials from construction sites across the Yorkshire region using a grab lorry. Must be over 30 for insurance purposes. Salary is dependant on experience and is negotiable.
IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of an 8-wheeler grab lorry
Loading and unloading materials using the grab arm
Transporting materials to and from Various sites
Adhering to health & safety and company compliance standards
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) & Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
HIAB/Grab Certification (preferred)
Previous experience operating a grab lorry preferred but not essential
Good understanding of health & safety regulations
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Ability to drive a Manual is desirable.
