2. Role Profile & Purpose
We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Aesthetic Doctor or Dentist (GMC or GDC registered) to join our premier Birmingham clinical team. The successful candidate will deliver advanced non-surgical cosmetic treatments, biostimulatory therapies, and skin restoration protocols in strict accordance with GMC/GDC Good Practice guidance and CQC regulatory frameworks.
This role demands strong clinical leadership, meticulous consultation standards, high artistic precision, and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy, high-volume clinic environment.
3. Key Clinical Competencies & Scope of Practice
A. Advanced Injectables
· Anti-Wrinkle Injections: Facial, neck, and specialized anatomical applications.
· Dermal Fillers: Precision placement for lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, tear troughs, and nasolabial folds.
· Skin Boosters: Profhilo, Seventy Hyal, and targeted tissue hydration treatments.
· Biostimulators & Polynucleotides: Tissue remodeling, collagen restoration, and biostimulatory protocols.
B. Regenerative & Dermatology Protocols
· PRP / PRF Therapy: Skin rejuvenation, scalp therapies, and hair restoration pathways.
· Skin Rejuvenation: Medical-grade microneedling, skin peels, and collagen-induction treatments.
· Medical Skincare: Tailored protocols for acne, hyperpigmentation, photo-ageing, and rosacea.
C. Consultation, Governance & Prescribing
· Consultation Excellence: Comprehensive facial assessment, aesthetic goal alignment, and personalized care planning.
· Informed Consent: Detailed risk-benefit discussions, ethical consent, and comprehensive aftercare.
· Complication Management: Proficient in managing adverse events and emergency vascular occlusion protocols (Hyalase).
· Prescribing & Compliance: Assessing medical suitability and prescribing necessary numbing, aftercare, and emergency agents.
4. Required Education, Registration & Attributes
· Professional Registration: Full GMC or GDC registration with an active Licence to Practise in the UK.
· Primary Qualification: Medical or Dental Degree (MBBS, MD, BDS, or international equivalent).
· Clinical Experience: Minimum 3 to 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on aesthetic medical practice.
· Postgraduate Training: Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (or equivalent accredited postgraduate training) preferred.
· Continuous Development: Up-to-date CPD portfolio covering injectables, complication management, and CQC governance.
· Core Attributes: Impeccable communication skills, empathetic patient manner, and ethical clinical judgment.
