Hendra Holiday Park is a family‑run, five‑star, multi‑award‑winning holiday park dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests. Set across 50 beautifully maintained acres, we take immense pride in the presentation and upkeep of our park, something we’ve been recognised for with numerous awards.
We are currently looking for a hands‑on, enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to join our experienced team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a workforce that values quality, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Working hours will fall between 8:00am and 9:00pm, ensuring the Park has full maintenance cover throughout the day and evening.
This is a seasonal position, with the potential to become year‑round for the right candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs to our modern fleet of static caravans and lodges.
- Undertake repairs and maintenance across all areas of the park, including amenity buildings and leisure facilities.
- Provide a responsive and efficient service to resolve guest accommodation maintenance issues.
- Work collaboratively with different departments across the site to ensure guests receive the best possible experience.
- Complete daily tasks assigned by the Operations Manager and Park Management.
- Operate the Park’s two‑way radio system professionally.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in safe working order.
- Maintain van stock and tools, ensuring they are kept clean, organised, and secure.
The successful candidate will
- Have experience within the holiday park industry and/or general maintenance work.
- Ideally hold a relevant trade qualification.
- Hold a full, clean driving licence.
- Have a good understanding of Health & Safety and be willing to follow our safe systems of work.
- Be comfortable interacting with guests and delivering excellent customer service.
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
