Breakfast Chef Wanted – The Ocean Guesthouse, Weymouth
The Ocean Guesthouse, 15 The Esplanade, Weymouth, is looking for a reliable Breakfast Chef to join our team.
The Role:
- Preparing and cooking a full English and continental breakfast for our guests
- Working to a high standard of presentation, hygiene, and consistency
- Managing timings so breakfast service runs smoothly during busy periods
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and stocked
- Liaising with front-of-house staff on guest requirements (allergies, dietary needs, special requests)
Hours:
Weekend availability is essential (Saturday and Sunday), with early starts to have breakfast ready for service. Additional weekday shifts may be available for the right candidate.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience cooking breakfast service in a hotel, guesthouse, or café setting is preferred
- Someone who can work efficiently under pressure without compromising on quality
- A good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate desirable)
- Reliability and punctuality — early starts and weekend commitment are non-negotiable
- A positive, guest-focused attitude
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
