Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation and cooking within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and supporting the overall operations of the kitchen. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in serving meals to customers or staff in a timely and professional manner
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is beneficial
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, or serving will be considered an asset
- Enthusiasm for culinary activities and a willingness to learn new skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy setting

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
