This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our newly formed administration team and the well-established HARI service supporting people with complex medical and therapy needs.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and high-quality administrative support service to both teams in the Southwest Division of CLCH NHS Trust & the patients its serves.
Our administrators provide vital support to enable high quality, efficient, responsive and supportive services to patients and other service users - from referral, through treatment, on to discharge.
The post holder will work as part of the locality administration team and will also support the HARI service as required, to provide a high-quality reception service and experience for all staff and service users in the front of house space at the Merton site.
Service operating hours are currently between 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday. Shifts of 7.5 hours will be scheduled within these times based on service needs.
PLEASE NOTE - the role is office based working only.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, including reception cover when required. These responsibilities are central to ensuring an organised, efficient approach to workload planning and supporting the needs of our patients and service users.
Key duties include:
- Reviewing patient records
- Booking clinics and appointments
- Supporting on-site activities
- Assisting with caseload audits
- Maintaining and updating waiting lists
- Communicating appointment details and relevant information to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
The role will also involve undertaking general administrative tasks as required or directed by the line manager. The post holder will be expected to use their initiative to manage day-to-day responsibilities, while ensuring that any urgent matters are promptly escalated to the appropriate clinical teams.
