Summary
Governors are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner with energy and passion for working in the Early Years to teach our youngest children. We are a supportive team, with experienced practitioners who offer a high standard of care and education to children at the beginning of their learning journey. We are a flexible school so this role does including the possibility for future movement into a role in the main school.
The successful applicant will have at least a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification and preferably experience of working in an Early Years setting. You will also need GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in Maths and English Language. As communication and language is key focus of Early Years education, we are looking for someone who has a good standard of written and spoken English so they can model this to our children. Knowledge and experience of the EYFS and either Birth to Five Matters or Development Matters is highly desirable.
The role will involve planning and delivering activities for our children based around our learning objectives as well as supporting with observing and assessing childrens progress. You will support our children within their daily routines.
We are looking for someone who wants to be an integral part of a strong, experienced team, who can bring new ideas, enjoys having fun and building positive relationships with our children and their families alongside maintaining high standards and working hard as a good team player.
The role will be 8:30-3:30pm Monday to Friday as standard, however, there will also be the expectation to cover some of our wraparound care in after school club until 6pm approximately two days per week. The role is term time only, however there is the opportunity to work additional hours in holiday clubs by agreement.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification
