Hours: 35 hours per week, working on a rolling rota to suit the needs of the service.

St Pauls supports up to 24 sisters of the order of St Paul the Apostle and other residents from the local community, women only. There are 3 floors with 8 beds on each floor and we welcome a mixture of nursing and residential people.
We are looking to recruit Senior Care Assistants to assist the management team in the effective co-ordination and administration of the service.
The role entails working on shifts and leading the team to provide a high level of holistic care and support for the members of the Religious Community in their own home, ensuring that a quality driven and holistic service is maintained at all times.
This role includes participation in an on-call rota, providing support as required outside normal working hours.

Essential criteria:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults (minimum of two years’ experience)
- NVQ 3 in care (or willingness to attain)
- Experience of developing personal care plans
- Experience of providing supervision
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, lead a team and work as part of a team
- Able to provide personal care
- Able to work flexible hours, sleep-ins and on-call duties
- Participate where necessary in social activities, outings/holidays with members of the Religious Community
- Maintain confidentiality
