Our client is a successful and expanding construction company based in Nottingham, looking for a highly organised and proactive Remote Construction Administrator / Remote Office Assistant to become an integral part of the business.
This is far more than an administration role. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, take ownership of their work, and develop into the Office Manager and trusted right-hand person to the Managing Director.

The Role
You'll be responsible for keeping the day-to-day administration running smoothly while supporting the Managing Director and ensuring customer enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all incoming enquiries via phone, email and platforms such as Checkatrade and MyBuilder.
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries and following up leads.
- Diary and email management for the Managing Director.
- Producing customer quotations using company templates.
- Chasing quotations and following up with prospective customers.
- Sourcing and obtaining the best prices for materials from suppliers.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all administration is up to date.
- Supporting the smooth running of the business through proactive organisation and communication.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience within the construction industry. Preferred not a necessity.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, is confident communicating by phone and email.
- Can work independently and manage their own workload.
- Is proactive and takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys solving problems.
- Is efficient, reliable and thrives in a busy environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine desire to grow alongside the business.
