Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. Duties
- Review dental emergencies and conduct appropriate treatment at the same time
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ teeth, gums, and oral cavity using clinical skills and diagnostic tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sterilisation protocols and infection control procedures.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in dentistry through continuous professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dentist with relevant qualifications recognised within the UK.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to the oral cavity and facial structures.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to perform precise dental procedures.
- Good communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and empathetically to patients.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
