About us
Gower Heating Co is a growing heating, cooling, and renewables business based on the Gower Peninsula, covering heat pump, air conditioning, and general heating installations across South Wales. We're on track for a record year and are building out the team to match — this is a newly created role, not a replacement.
The role
We need someone to take ownership of surveys, quoting, and job coordination so our directors can focus on technical work and growing the business. You'll be the link between winning a job and getting it delivered smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Attending site visits for standard heating jobs, and producing accurate quotes using our established pricing structure
- Attending initial site visits for heat pump and air conditioning jobs — taking measurements, photos, and property details using our standard checklist — for our specialist to finalise the technical spec remotely
- Ordering kit and materials for confirmed jobs and tracking deliveries against install dates, so nothing gets missed
- Scheduling engineers across live jobs and acting as the main point of contact for customers once work is underway
- Flagging anything non-standard, technically complex, or customer-sensitive to the directors
What we're looking for
- Comfortable on-site: able to measure a property accurately, spot access or installation issues, and ask the right questions
- Confident and professional with customers, in person and over the phone
- Organised — able to run a diary, chase suppliers, and keep multiple jobs moving without close supervision
- Able to follow a pricing structure accurately and produce professional, accurate quotes
- A trade background is helpful but not essential — heat pump or air conditioning experience is not required, as our specialist handles technical sizing
