We’re looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to ensure that B2B systems meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Your analytical, questioning and problem-solving skills combined with knowledge of business processes and systems will be key to the successful delivery of change.

Location: Any major O2 Business office
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 – 5:00/5:30 (37.5 hours)
As a Business Analyst you will:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, and gain clarification on what stakeholders want to accomplish, questioning to the level of detail required to uncover the full picture and any potential impacts that may not have been previously considered.

Translate business needs into functional specifications for the development team.

Ensure that requirements are aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Document requirements clearly and concisely so they can be easily understood by stakeholders and anyone else involved, providing information on what is needed to achieve the desired business outcome.

Create User Stories and/or Epics (as applicable), structured as “as a [role], I want to [action], so that I can [outcome]”, to outline the work required to meet business requirements and support validation during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Build flow and process diagrams and/or wireframes where required.

Identify options for solving business challenges, working with business stakeholders, third parties and internal development teams to facilitate decisions on the best solution.

Provide documentation to enable third parties or developers to progress with the agreed solution.

Support third parties and development teams in the technical refinement of solutions, remaining available throughout the delivery process to answer questions and ensure the final solution meets the intended outcome.

Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role where equivalent skills have been demonstrated.

Strong understanding of business processes and telecoms technologies and systems.

Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.

Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle, DevOps, and cross-functional squad/team environments.

Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar project management and documentation tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
