FINANCE AND BUSINESS MANAGER
full-time or maximum part-time
£50,000 pa FTE
25 days holiday pa pro rata + bank holidays

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
relevant finance and business experience
experienced and fully competent in QuickBooks
strong IT skills in particular Excel
ideally, a book-keeping or accounting qualification
ideally, residing in West London
acute attention to detail
NowMedical has provided medical advice services to local authorities and other public sector bodies for over twenty years. We now advise over 150 local authorities across the country, including 22 of the London Boroughs, on housing matters. We also act as medical advisers to the UK Home Office (UK Visas and Immigration) and around 30 Housing Associations.
We have a team of 24 doctors, who are all general practitioners (GPs) or specialist psychiatrists, and our systems are designed to ensure we meet all our targets including caseload and timelines.
We have a friendly secretariat and admin team of twelve staff members and well-equipped modern offices in leafy Chiswick in West London. We have a state-of-the-art professionally supported secure computer system. NowMedical undertakes over 60,000 assessments each year.
JOB DESCRIPTION

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
invoicing
monitoring debtor balances
chasing overdue payments
accounts received
liaising with external company accountants
all reconciliations
QuickBooks management
maintaining client account records
credit control
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
client liaison and support
managing client accounts
onboarding new clients
assisting with tendering
data control and GDPR
monitoring workload and case volumes
contracts and renewals
insurances
liaising with IT support provider
office management
workflow control
special projects
Pay: £50,000.00 per year
