We're looking for a Bridal Consultant to join our amazing boutique who is enthusiastic, confident, passionate about fashion and bridal, and flexible to work with a growing team.
A passion for bridal and sales experience are essential
Experienced bridal consultant preferred, but not essential if you are a fast learner and willing to learn (there is a lot more to it than people realise!)
Regular Saturday availability is essential for this role

You'll be part of a close-knit team that is exciting, great fun and incredibly warm and supportive. This is a temporary part-time position for Fridays and Saturdays until January 2027, with the possibility of becoming a permanent Bridal Consultant on Saturdays, with additional flexible hours, subject to business needs and performance.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist brides in selecting bridal gowns and accessories that suit their style, size, and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on fit, fabric, colour options, and current trends to guide purchasing decisions.
- Conduct fittings and ensure garments are presented attractively on mannequins or displays.
- Upsell additional products such as veils, jewellery, or shoes to enhance the customer’s purchase experience.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of stock levels, new arrivals, and promotional offers to inform clients accurately.
- Organise appointments efficiently, managing time effectively to serve multiple clients throughout the day.
- Utilise merchandising skills to display products appealingly and maximise sales opportunities.
- Handle customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy following proper phone etiquette.
- Keep the sales area tidy, organised, and well-stocked to ensure an inviting shopping environment.
Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and articulate product information clearly.
- Organisational skills with the confidence & capacity to manage appointments and able to deal with a variety of people and personalities.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments , handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Experience in sales
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional phone etiquette regularly interacting over the phone or via email.
- Attention to detail to ensure a seamless shopping experience for every client.
- Happy to be busy, on your feet for long hours handling heavy dresses and deliveries, and steaming regularly.
