What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll operate HGV Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles to collect and deliver packaged hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials from customer and supplier sites across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely transporting packaged waste between multiple locations nationwide
- Maintaining full compliance with ADR, transport regulations and company policies
- Accurately completing paperwork, including waste transfer notes
- Coordinating with the transport office to meet delivery schedules
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
- Using all equipment (pumps, hoses, spill kits) safely and correctly
- Liaising with customers and site personnel to manage access and delivery requirements
- Assisting with loading/unloading and securing loads
- Ensuring the correct use of PPE at all times
- Supporting operational efficiency through route optimisation
- Upholding the highest safety standards at every stage of the journey

Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
· Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
· Valid CPC qualification
· Valid ADR certification
· Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
· Strong awareness of safety, compliance and ADR requirements
· Reliable, professional attitude to driving and vehicle care
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Attention to detail with paperwork and procedures
Preferred but not essential:
· Previous HGV experience — newly qualified drivers welcome
