We are seeking a passionate cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with previous experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes are presented beautifully
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests
- Assist in inventory of kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients
- Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and meal presentation
- Maintain a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and creativity
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a restaurant settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for various dietary needs
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Background in catering or food service is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong communication skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
