Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Night Porter to join our team. This vital role ensures the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and property during overnight hours. The Night Porter will provide excellent guest services, manage security protocols, and support the smooth operation of the venue and associated self catered accomodation during the night shift.
Duties
- Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours, providing friendly and professional service.
- Monitor the overall security of the premises, through out the night.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or issues, offering solutions or escalating as necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
- Support emergency procedures by coordinating with local authorities or emergency services when needed.
- Assist with the setup of rooms for forthcoming events.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable but not essential.
- Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are a strong advantage for communicating with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with security protocols .
- A proactive attitude with good guest service skills is essential to create a positive overnight experience.
- Ability to work independently, stay alert during night shifts, and handle unexpected situations confidently.
