We are seeking an experienced and motivated Die Cut Area Supervisor to oversee our clients Die Cut section within their leading manufacturing faculty.
This supervisory role involves managing a team to ensure efficient die-cutting processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring safety compliance across the production floor.
Duties
- Supervise daily die-cutting operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of die-cutting machinery.
- Be a proactive leader in behavioural safety ensuring all Die Cut teams achieve standards.
- Support and document training requirements and competence of everyone in the die cut area.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimise tooling utilisation.
- Ensure minimum wastage of materials through effective machine operations across your shift.
Requirements
- Working within a manufacturing/production environment with targets and objectives.
- Experience of setting manufacturing/production equipment.
- Experience within a mechanical role where equipment fault finding and rectification was required.
- Line Management experience - Proven experience of leading a team of at least 3 people.
- Technical experience, including diagnostic and fault finding skills, able to identify and resolve basic machine related problems.
- Experience in operating production lines and have a good understanding of all ancillary equipment.
- Able to undertake training of new staff to the required standard.
Hours and pay
- Monday to Friday, Permanent day shift
- Hours are 07.30 - 15.30
- Salary up to £38,000pa
