We are currently looking for a Cook/Kitchen Assistant at Warmley House Care Home in Warmley.

Responsibilities and duties for the Kitchen Assistant role are:
- To be on duty as required by the duty rota
- To comply with policies and procedures
- To ensure that all kitchen tasks are done to the required standard
- Kitchen to be left clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are met when using kitchen equipment.
- Keep clean all work surfaces in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination.
- Complete any cleaning tasks that are on the cleaning rota.
- At the end of the shift ensure that all the rubbish is taken out
Responsibilities and duties for the Chef role are:
- To prepare appetising and nutritious food for the residents daily
- To prepare a menu in conjunction with the residents’ likes and dislikes; this must rotate on a four-week basis
- To ensure that the kitchen is hygienically clean
- To ensure all food orders are requested with ample time while working under an agreed budget
- To meet diverse dietary requirements as necessary.
Hours:
- 8.00am to 5pm Kitchen Assistant (25.5hrs Per Week)
- 8.00am to 5.30pm Chef (18hrs per Week)
- Total Contracted Hours 43.5 Hours per Week
- Weekend working
Pay:
- £12.71 Kitchen Assistant
- £14.75 Chef
Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
