Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to promote dignity and comfort
- Support individuals in their daily activities, including meal preparation and light household chores when needed
- Develop and follow personalized care plans to meet each person’s unique needs and preferences
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive clients to appointments or outings safely and responsibly when required
- Monitor health conditions, report changes promptly, and assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
Skills
- Valid driving license with the ability to drive safely and confidently
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of care plans and how to implement them effectively
- Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and documentation
- Fluency in English for clear verbal and written communication
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
