Sheppertonians FC is a thriving grassroots football club committed to providing young players with a fun, positive and inclusive introduction to the game. As our coaching programme continues to expand, we’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic coaches who share our passion for developing children through football.

About the Position
You’ll lead exciting football sessions for children aged 3–8, helping players build confidence, improve their technical ability and develop a lifelong enjoyment of football. Sessions are designed to be engaging, inclusive and suitable for all abilities.
The role includes regular Saturday morning coaching, along with midweek sessions. Additional coaching opportunities will be available as the club continues to grow.
Main Duties
- Deliver well-planned, enjoyable football sessions tailored to young children.
- Foster a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment where every player can thrive.
- Support the development of football skills, confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Maintain high standards of player welfare and safeguarding throughout every session.
- Work closely with the wider coaching team to provide a consistent coaching experience.
- Prepare and store coaching equipment before and after training.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Qualified with the FA Introduction to Coaching Football award (or a higher coaching qualification).
- Passionate about inspiring and developing young footballers.
- Positive, dependable and professional in their approach.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with children and parents.
- Previous coaching experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS certificate or is willing to complete one.
- FA Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid qualifications are advantageous.
