Management Trainee | Hospitality Experience Welcome
Turn your hospitality experience into a commercial leadership career
If you have worked in restaurants, hotels, bars, events, customer service, front of house, guest relations, shift leadership, team supervision or another high-pressure service environment, your experience could be more valuable than you realise.
You already know how to communicate with people, stay composed under pressure, solve problems quickly, maintain standards and deliver a strong customer experience.
This opportunity is designed for people who want to turn those skills into a long-term career in commercial management, leadership and future directorship.
Hospitality experience is not a fallback here. It is a strong foundation.
About the opportunity
This is a structured Career Launchpad with a Nottingham-based business offering hands-on development in customer engagement, sales, communication, leadership and commercial performance.
You will receive practical training, coaching and mentoring while building the skills needed to progress into management responsibility over time.
Why hospitality skills transfer so well
Hospitality develops people who can perform in real situations, not just on paper.
The skills you may already use every day include:
- Communicating clearly with customers, guests and colleagues
- Staying calm when the environment is busy or demanding
- Reading people and adapting your approach
- Handling objections, complaints or difficult conversations professionally
- Selling, upselling or influencing customer decisions
- Managing pace, standards and attention to detail
- Supporting colleagues and leading by example
- Taking ownership when things need to be done properly
- Building trust quickly with different types of people
These are the same foundations needed to succeed in a commercial leadership pathway.
The Career Launchpad
The Career Launchpad is a structured pathway for people who want more than a short-term job.
You will start by learning the core skills of customer engagement, sales, service standards, commercial awareness and professional communication. As you develop, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, support others and build leadership capability.
For people who perform consistently and show the right behaviours, the pathway can lead towards:
