Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Driver Class 1 to operate night shifts, specialising inbox trailers and commercial driving. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking to work overnight hours in a dynamic logistics environment. Candidates must possess a valid UK HGV licence and relevant driving experience, particularly with Box trailers, vehicles DAF or Merc and delivery operations.
This position is the cleanest job ,you are more like a chauffeur ,deliveries from depot to depot, no off loading or loading required.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 HGV lorry, on night routes across various locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies during driving shifts.
- Load and unload cargo where necessary, ensuring securement of goods during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid UK HGV Licence (Category C+E) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles and delivery operations.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and tachograph legislation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Ability to work night shifts reliably and independently.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Prior experience with flatbed lorries is highly desirable but not essential.
