Electrician r – Social Housing

Salary: £24.53/hr Company Van + Fuel Card
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance within the social housing sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, customer-focused tradesperson who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and installations.
- Complete reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Undertake multi-trade tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and decorating where required.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
- Accurately complete job reports and paperwork using handheld devices.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance.
- Good all-round multi-trade skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
