Lillie Brothers, part of The Cornish Food Box Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team delivering fresh local milk and groceries to customers across Cornwall.
For over 50 years, Lillie Brothers has been delivering milk to doorsteps across Cornwall. Today, as part of The Cornish Food Box Company, we're proud to support local farmers and producers while providing an excellent service to our customers.
The Role
You'll be delivering milk and groceries to homes and businesses on established routes across Mid and West Cornwall.
This is a permanent role offering 16 hours per week + regular extra hours covering holiday across regular shifts. Shift timing is open to discussion with the possibility of a 4am to 11am shift pattern instead of overnight for the right person.
Typical shifts
- Saturday night from 10pm to 8am
- Tuesday night from 10pm to 8am
- Additional cover shifts available by agreement
Full route training will be provided, and you'll work alongside experienced team members until you're confident on your route.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering milk and groceries safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Following established delivery routes using handheld devices
- Providing reliable service to our customers
- Keeping vehicles clean and well-presented
- Working independently while remaining part of a supportive team
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- Aged 25 or over (due to vehicle insurance requirements)
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry milk crates
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
Delivery driving experience is very helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
