Baglan Buddies After school childcare are looking for enthusiastic play leader to join our fantastic team. This opening is for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3.15 until 5.30. The right candidates would need to be fun, enthusiastic, caring and comfortable with leading children in play and providing the best care.
We are an after school child care based in a primary school in Baglan open Monday to Thursday term time. 3.15 until 5.30.
This is a term time only position with potential to run holiday clubs
Level 3 childcare/play preferred or working towards these qualification.
Pediatric first aid and safeguarding helpful.
Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
No driving license required.
Start September 2026
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various activities during after school.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all participants.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games and educational activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents.
- Drive to and from locations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff while providing leadership and guidance.
Pay: £27.55 per day
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 3 or 2 childcare/ play qualifications (preferred)
