The Role
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will play a key part in creating memorable experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to a diverse, international customer base
- Provide product knowledge on Scottish souvenirs and cashmere items
- Support customers with purchases, queries, and recommendations
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Replenish stock and assist with deliveries
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve sales targets
About You
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with customers
- Strong communication skills (additional languages are a bonus)
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends and peak tourist periods
- An interest in Scottish culture, heritage, or luxury retail is advantageous
