Job Overview
We are looking for a part time/full time conveyancer to deal with mainly residential conveyancing, to include sales, purchase, transfer of equity, remortgage etc. Maintain the firm’s reputation by providing a quality legal service to all clients in accordance with the firm’s quality standards as set out in office manual, and in compliance with CQS, CML handbook
Oversee the training of the trainee solicitor whilst they are in the conveyancing/Wills department.
Identify opportunities of expansion for the firm.
Maintain professional standards of work and compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations. (eg Lexcel, SRA code of conduct)
Assist the principal and comply with all reasonable requests.
Implement tasks as delegated and report back promptly
Maintain client files as required for any supervision or audit.
Provide support to other fee earners as appropriate.
Minimise problems by reviewing cases regularly and raising any issue of concern with BD
Identify and keep track of training needs.
Carry out a full check/review of files at the end of each month
Check all balances of your clients each month with a view to clearing as many as possible
Keep written records of all important attendances and calls – on the case management system
Pay: £35,000.00-£64,000.00 per year
