Maintenance Person (10-20 Hours per Week)
The Isle of Purbeck Golf Club is an award-winning golf club located on the stunning Jurassic Coast, just three miles from Swanage and close to Studland. We are proud of our beautiful facilities and strong connection to the surrounding natural environment.
We are seeking a reliable, multi-skilled Maintenance Person to help keep our clubhouse, grounds, and facilities in excellent condition.
This is a flexible, daytime role working approximately 10-20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours when required. You will work independently, planning your own schedule to complete routine maintenance tasks and occasional improvement projects. All tools, materials, and project requirements will be provided by the club.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance, repairs, and decorating
- Grounds upkeep, including strimming, weeding, and seasonal gardening tasks
- Cleaning and maintaining clubhouse facilities, outdoor furniture, and communal areas
- Monitoring and addressing minor building issues, drainage, lighting, and fixtures
- Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks
- Assisting with improvement and refurbishment projects as required
About You
- Practical and self-motivated
- Experienced in general maintenance, DIY, or property upkeep
- Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Reliable, organised, and proactive in identifying maintenance needs
A monthly meeting will be held to review completed work, discuss priorities, and plan upcoming projects.
