Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Football Centre Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations at our vibrant football facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sport, management, and hospitality to contribute to a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth centre operations, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the growth of the business.
Duties
- Assist in managing the day-to-day running of the football centre, including scheduling and coordinating bookings and events
- Supervise staff and ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Oversee the organisation of football sessions, tournaments, and other centre activities
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Support the management team in implementing operational policies and procedures
- Manage stock levels for equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote centre activities and increase customer engagement
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to across all areas of the centre
Requirements
- Proven experience in management, hospitality, or customer service within a sports or leisure environment is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure in what is a demanding role.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with customers and staff alike
- Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and foster a positive working environment
- Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to sports centres is advantageous
- Flexibility to work during centre hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- A passion for football or sports is beneficial but not essential; enthusiasm for creating an enjoyable experience for guests is vital
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
