Restaurant Manager – Lacquer Room Restaurant

About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Lacquer Room Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, high operational standards, and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
You will lead by example, inspire your team, and work closely with the Kitchen team and hotel management to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop team members.
- Create staff rotas and manage labour costs effectively.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, cleanliness and service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve any issues promptly.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure excellent communication between front and back of house.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Drive sales through excellent service, upselling and promotional initiatives.
- Help develop the restaurant's reputation within the local community and among hotel guests.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or an experienced Restaurant Supervisor looking to progress.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Right to work in the UK.
