We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sous Chef to join our friendly and dedicated kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys working in a professional environment with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and continuous development.
Working directly under the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, helping to deliver outstanding food and service standards while supporting menu development and maintaining industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the management and operation of the kitchen.
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality food service while working within budget parameters.
- Assist in compiling and developing menus that meet customer expectations, industry good practice, and evolving customer needs.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of menu offerings.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant accreditation standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Work collaboratively within a small team, supporting colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment during busy service periods.
About You
- Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie role.
- Passionate about delivering quality food and excellent customer experiences.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
