Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Restock bar supplies as needed throughout shifts.
- Engage with customers to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere, promoting repeat business.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including responsible alcohol service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable.
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving correct change.
- Excellent time management to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- A personable attitude with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
