Depot Administrator
Full-time permanent - 40 hours per week.

General information
The Depot Administrator will assist in the smooth running of the depot on a day-to-day basis by providing general administrative support to the team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will play an integral part in the set-up of the Depot and will act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the site. For the right person, there will also be the opportunity for the role to develop as the Depot grows.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Depot Administrator
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming telephone enquiries
- Generate and process collection and delivery notes through Insphire software
- Log and record damages and process charges to customers from returned assets
- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all visitors adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines
- Support with the booking of the van MOT, servicing and Repairs, via 3rd party providers
- Provide information on stock availability and stock movement
- Generate and complete depot stock transfers, in and out of your operating depot.
- Support other Garic depots during periods of administration annual leave.
- Improve and develop the existing systems and processes to ensure the Depot operates efficiently
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience of working in a construction/hire or manufacturing environment
- Proficient with all aspects of Microsoft Office
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing role
Desirable
- NVQ in Business Administration
- An awareness of Health and Safety
