Job Description:
As a senior carer, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.
We are looking for someone with experience in care as well as supporting staff, also some involvement in managing rotas
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and confidentiality guidelines.
- Support care staff
- Assist with rota management when required
Essential Requirements:
- A full, valid UK Driving License and access to a reliable vehicle (due to the nature of the role, you may be required to travel to clients' homes).
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in a care-related role (although not required, it would be an advantage).
- A willingness to undertake a DBS check and training as required.
