Sea Lighter Property Services Ltd is a growing London-based company providing residential and commercial cleaning, gardening, maintenance and property services. We work with private clients, landlords, estate agents, property managers, housing providers and businesses across London.
The role
We are recruiting reliable Cleaning Operatives to support one-off and recurring assignments at residential buildings, communal areas, offices and other client properties across London.
This is a part-time, zero-hours position. Work is offered according to customer demand, availability, location and suitability for each assignment. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours. Hours may vary up to 35 per week.
Pay
£13.50–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience, assignment and responsibilities.
Main responsibilities
- General and scheduled cleaning of client properties
- Cleaning communal entrances, corridors, stairs and shared areas
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, offices and residential spaces
- Deep cleaning and end-of-tenancy cleaning when assigned
- Following site instructions, cleaning checklists and health and safety procedures
- Using products and equipment safely
- Reporting damage, hazards, access problems or missing supplies
- Taking approved completion photographs where required
- Maintaining professional, respectful communication with clients and colleagues
Essential requirements
- Reliable, punctual and able to work to a consistent standard
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Able to travel reliably between assignments across London
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules and job updates
- Able to communicate in English sufficiently to understand safety instructions and client requirements
- Right to work in the United Kingdom; appropriate checks will be completed before work starts
Desirable
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Experience in communal, commercial, deep or end-of-tenancy cleaning
- Driving licence and access to transport
- Relevant cleaning or health and safety training
- References from previous employers or clients
