Hockey Coach – After-School Club
Love hockey? Love working with children? We want to hear from you!
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Hockey Coach to join our team and run a fun, energetic after-school hockey club at one of our local primary schools.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has hockey experience and wants to share their love of the sport with primary-aged children.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be running weekly hockey sessions for primary school aged children, helping them learn new skills, build confidence and, most importantly, have a brilliant time!
You’ll plan and deliver fun, active sessions that are suitable for different ages and abilities, from complete beginners to children who already love their hockey.
Your sessions might include:
- Hockey skills, drills and games
- Fun warm-ups and active challenges
- Small-sided games and competitions
- Teamwork and confidence-building activities
- Plenty of encouragement, energy and fun!
You’ll also make sure the children are safe, happy and engaged throughout the session, while working closely with the Educamps team.
What we're looking for
Hockey experience is essential – whether that’s through coaching, playing competitively or another relevant hockey background.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- A relevant hockey/coaching qualification (desirable)
- Experience working with children
- Lots of enthusiasm and energy!
- A friendly, positive and encouraging personality
- The confidence to lead a group of primary-aged children
- Reliability and a responsible approach to safeguarding
You don't need to be a qualified teacher – we’re looking for someone who knows their hockey and can make sessions fun, engaging and memorable for children.
