Deadline for applications: 31st August 2026 Club Overview - As one of the Midlands premier squash venues, Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club combines top-tier competition with a warm, community-focussed atmosphere. We are the home of RAF Squash. We host inter-services competitions and we are the venue for the Karakal Midlands Squash Masters. Our squash and racketball teams compete in the Warwickshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire leagues. With around 1,100 members, we pride ourselves on being a not-for-profit club that champions inclusivity and growth. Our thriving junior squash section is nurturing talented players, and we offer dedicated coaching pathways for every age and ability. Beyond the courts, our comprehensive fitness and physiotherapy facilities support racket sports training and general welbeing alike, ensuring everyone, from beginners to seasoned competitors, can train, socialise and excel under one roof. In addition, we have 10 outdoor and 3 indoor tennis courts, plus 3 recently installed Padel courts. Role Overview - An exciting opportunity to lead the squash & racketball programme at one of the top clubs in the West Midlands. This is a managerial and coaching role, giving you control of the squash & racketball programme at a club with a national reputation for high standards and community spirit. You'll work closely with club management and the squash committee to shape and deliver a dynamic programme for all ages and abilities. We’re looking for someone qualified to Level 2 or higher, who’s passionate about developing players and building a welcoming squash environment. As Head of Squash & Racketball you’ll: Drive a high-quality squash experience for members and visitors. Lead and manage the coaching team to deliver a consistent, inclusive programme. Have the opportunity to develop your own one-to-one coaching portfolio alongside your club role. Coach juniors and adults at all levels — from beginner to team and academy standard. Continue building our successful junior pathway, including school and community links. Oversee all adult squash & racketball activity, including adult teams, internal competitions, and social squash. Continue to build our community programmes supporting SEND groups. Maintain strong relationships with Shropshire, Staffordshire and England Squash. Play a key role in delivering tournaments, events, and initiatives that reflect WLTSC’s reputation for excellence.
