We are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team in Burton-on-Trent.
Our Ofsted-regulated therapeutic children’s homes provide safe, nurturing and supportive environments for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Using trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches, including the PACE model, we support children to develop confidence, resilience, independence and positive relationships.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in creating a stable, positive and nurturing environment where children can feel safe, supported and valued.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, child-centred care within a therapeutic residential setting.
- Building positive, trusting and consistent relationships with children and young people.
- Acting as a positive role model and supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
- Supporting children with daily routines, education, hobbies and social activities.
- Encouraging independence, life skills, confidence and personal development.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent and effective care.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning and safeguarding practices.
About You
We are looking for people who are:

- Strong communicators who work effectively as part of a team.
- Committed to therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches.
- Flexible and able to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts where required.
- Experienced in residential childcare or a similar support role (preferred, but not essential).
Most importantly, you will have the right values, attitude and commitment to help children overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
