We're Currently looking for Experienced Full Time Bar / Floor Supervisor,
Background of The Pub
The Swan is a 15th Century Pub that underwent a big refurbishment from 2021-2023.
It Reopened in November 2023 with new state of the art facilities including,
A new bar area with 20 draft beers from around the world,
A New Kitchen & Cellar with a brewery/distillery due to be installed later in 2026
Last year we placed in the Top 50 Good Food Guide Pubs & hope to better ourselves this year!
We're looking for driven individuals with experience in hospitality and are looking to advance their career.
In return we will happily put our staff through various training courses to gain valuable qualifications such as WSET & Personal Alcohol Licenses.
We're now looking to grow the team ahead of busy periods ahead.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Staff & Make sure standards are maintained
- Help the Duty Manager alongside the shifts to manage the premise
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic Drinks to guests
- Take orders and provide recommendations on drink selections (Training Provided)
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest concerns or inquiries
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance at all times
Skills:
- Previous experience in Hospitality or other Customer facing Jobs
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and meal preparation
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent guest service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
- Proficient in phone etiquette for taking reservations and answering inquiries

Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
