Busy internet based ductwork/ventilation business is looking for an enthusiastic, and motivated individual to assist on the workshop floor. Previous experience of working with sheet metal or ductwork manufacture would be advantageous.
Responsibilities will include:
· Folding, rolling, spot welding and riveting sheet steel as part of the fabrication process
· Using hand tools, drills, grinders
· Loading and unloading vehicles
· Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
The successful candidate will:
· Have good communication skills
· Have a good level of spoken and written English
· Be fit and healthy
· Have basic computer skills as a minimum
· Work well within a small team
· Demonstrate a willingness to learn
· Be conscientious, organised, and methodical in their approach
· Be able to work under pressure
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
· A currently valid forklift license
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Knowledge of the HVAC industry
· A full UK driving license
Salary & Hours
Pay dependent on skills, experience and general performance.
Full time 8.30am to 5.00pm Mon. – Fri. (some flexibility required as you may be required to work later on occasion)
