Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational activities that cater to the individual needs of each child, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and overall growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging educational programmes that foster children's learning and development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care and education is maintained.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the children's care.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- A qualification minimum level 3 in Early Years is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to engage with children at their level, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Driving licence preferred for potential transportation needs related to outings or activities.
