About Us Exquisite Brushwork is an upcoming residential property improvement business launching soon across London. We are currently building a reliable network of skilled, self-employed tradespeople to onboard for upcoming high-end domestic projects.
The Opportunity We are seeking experienced self-employed carpenters to join our trade roster. This is an initial outreach to review credentials, portfolios, and availability so we can assign work directly as projects go live.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years professional residential carpentry (first and second fix) experience.
- Status: Genuine self-employed status (registered sole trader / UTR required).
- Equipment: Own reliable van and complete set of professional cordless power tools, hand tools, and precision cutting equipment (mitre saw, plunge saw, track guide, etc.).
- Insurance: Valid Public Liability Insurance (minimum £1m cover).
- Credentials: Blue CSCS card desirable (NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery desirable).
- References: 2 professional trade or client references.
- Standards: Precise jointing, immaculate prep work, clean working habits, and a respectful manner in occupied domestic homes.
- Substitution: Right of substitution applies, subject to replacement personnel meeting our qualification and quality standards.
Scope of Work
- High-standard domestic second fix carpentry (skirting, architraves, internal/external doors, ironmongery, panelling).
- Light first fix timber work, stud partitioning, and floorboard repairs.
- Fitted storage, alcove units, and kitchen fitting/modifications where appropriately experienced.
- Working cleanly and protecting customer furnishings, floors, and surrounding areas.
