Founded in 1981, Bennett & Rogers is a well-established group of 4 independent practices covering multiple locations across Devon.
Bennett & Rogers is now under the leadership of award-winning Optometrist, Adam Matthews and Lillian Agelis who both share a vision of providing a first-class, patient -centric service.
All of our practices have recently undergone a full refit and rebrand, making for a light, spacious and modern working environment, complete with first-class testing equipment and designer frame brands.
What’s the Opportunity?
Bennett & Rogers is now looking for a full time dispensing Optical Assistant who has a great passion for the industry and ensuring we maintain our high standards of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience within an optical setting and will be able to dispense at a high level along with computer skills to carry out administrative duties. It is also important that you have strong communication skills, are able to work well within a team and have a key focus on patient experience.
You’ll be supported by extremely knowledgeable Dispensing Optician and Practice Manager, so you can feel confident that patients are receiving the best standard of care and you, the support you need.
We are also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs.
Equally important to us is the way you interact with patients. Providing a friendly, informative, and empathetic service is a must.

Locations
The Optical Assistant role is based in both our Axminster and Seaton practices with the expectation to work in our other 2 practices (Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton), if required.
