We are looking for a warm, reliable, and organized individual to join our team as an Optical Receptionist. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in making our patients feel welcome and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.
The Role
This is a multifaceted role that blends administrative excellence with a keen eye for style. You won’t just be managing the front desk; you’ll be helping patients find the perfect look and ensuring they receive their eyewear with care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination: Warmly greeting patients upon arrival, managing the clinic diary, and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Dispensing Assistance: Helping patients select frames that suit their style and needs, and assisting with lens selection and final fittings.
- Financial Handling: Processing payments and managing billing.
- Clinical Support: Maintaining organized patient records (both physical and digital) and sorting incoming eyewear orders.
- Environment Upkeep: Ensuring the showroom and reception area remain clean, professional, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a reception or retail role (Optical experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right personality!).
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and scheduling software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
